Getting Started

 

The following are but a few of the many many meal options from Wise Belly. I try to accentuate what each season has to offer, and some of my favorite items (fava beans, fresh corn, clementines, fresh figs) aren't available year round, but I try to take advantage of them when they are in season. I put a lot of care into how I start each meal. All of my stocks - veggie, bone, corn (great for rice and grains), fish, and shellfish - as well as all the marinades, bases and sauces I use are made from scratch, so I can control each dish from beginning to end, and are always more flavorful than what can be bought in any store.
